Learning to Teach-Lab: Science (LTL:S)
The video lab serves to qualify teachers in all phases of basic, further and advanced training and provides a comprehensive insight into the routines and structures of classroom interactions through the use of state-of-the-art research methods. Teachers can take part in training sessions and supervised teaching experiments with their school classes based on the latest findings from teaching research. In addition to live coaching sessions, teachers receive individual feedback on the following topics, among others:
- Conversation management in the classroom,
- Learning support behaviour in phases of student work,
- Classroom management strategies for dealing with disruptions,
- Organization and design of independent lessons,
- Learning in virtual teaching-learning environments.
Details of our training courses for teachers can be obtained from the Chair's Office Management.
Current research results from the Learning-to-Teach Lab: Science can be found on the corresponding project page.
